Each One - Plant One - Go Green

What is being done to Mother Nature is but a mirror reflection of how we are endangering ourselves and our generations to come just in the name of development. Today Mother Earth has been robbed of its grace, its beauty, its only ornament - ‘the Greenery’.

The innovative and enthusiastic students of classes V, VI and VII of Dr. M.K.K. Arya Model School, Model Town, Panipat (Haryana) (India) have worked on the British Council ISA Project ‘Each One - Plant One - Go Green’. (Collaborative)

Through this project an initiative has been taken to make the students realize and understand the devastating impact of deforestation and the growing need to Go Green to make Mother Earth breathe and let all of us breathe. The countries included to be studied in this project are China, India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

The project includes interesting, enjoyable and enriching activities like online research work, information gathered through books, magazines and encyclopaedias, sharing information gathered with the partner school, panel discussion among the students on the devastating impact of deforestation, declamation on the topic ‘Each One – Plant One – Go Green’, composing and reciting poetry on the importance of greenery, power point presentation showing the impact of deforestation in China, India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. ‘Green Week’ celebration including activities like eating all green, plantation, writing slogans and making posters to highlight the importance of greenery on this beautiful earth. ‘Street March’ spreading the message of Go Green and celebration of Earth Day with a great fervour.

We want you to spare your precious time to watch our activities.

Your precious comments are awaited and
welcomed.........
